Battle of the Labyrinth By Rick Riordan

Percy is back! Yep, so are his trustworthy allies/best friends Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood and his cyclops half-brother, Tyson. They set out yet again to embark on a perilous mythical journey to amazing locations. There will be Titans, Gods, Demigods, Monsters and a lot of confused mortals.

This time they aren't going to the Underworld, the Sea of Monsters, or the great mountain of the Titans, but a thrill ride into Daedalus' Labyrinth. Yes kids, the legendary Labyrinth where the Minotaur was kept by the great King Minos before Theseus killed it. You'll be dragged by your ankles on a mind blowing roller coaster ride of danger, monsters and romance. Witness the awakening of the Titan Lord, Kronos as if you were there and reunite and ally past enemies to save the world from turning into a PetriDish of Chaos. The makings of a soon-to-be classic!

This book is recommended to the fans that have enjoyed the past three books and also the people that like a good rollicking adventure novel. Being book four in the Percy Jackson series, you WILL NOT be disappointed. The author Rick Riordan is an genius writer that has written various books like one of the "39 clues" books that are each written by a different author. If Rick disappoints you, it might as well be Armageddon.

Sight

This book sight is about a girl named Dylan, unlike any other typical teenaged girl, Dylan is cursed with 'sight'. She has visions of the last moments of a child life- a child who has been abducted, kidnapped or worse.....
For all her life she has never told anyone about her curse exept for the police and her mom. One day when her secret becomes too much to bear, she finds her-self confiding to Cate a new girl in town. One day when Dylan's best friend, Pilar's sister goes missing Dylan finds herself risking her life to go save her when she realizes that Cate could be harboring dangerous secrets of her own.
I would recommened this book to anyone who is intersted in horror stories . Although I found this book a little scary when the author describes the muder and event, it made me want to continue reading to find out what happens next. A quote that i thought was interesting in this book was: 'sometimes the answers appear right in front of our eyes' . I think that this book is reasonably easy so anybody would enjoy reading it.

The People Of Sparks by Jeanne DuPrau

This book is the second book of the series "the book of Ember". This story talks about the people of Ember after escaping from their ruined city. They arrived a village called Sparks. The people of Sparks were happy to help them for 6 months to teach them how to survive in the wild by their own. However, during the time, the people of Ember had a conflict with the people of Sparks. Can they have peace and not to declare war on each other?

The main characters are Goon and Lina who are the ones who found the exit out of Ember.

This book is about the future of our world. You will all think the future will be nice, cool, exciting...etc. However, in this story, the future is the opposite. The population of the world is less than now, people live in ruin houses from the past, they have poor machinery...etc. They are like living in the middle ages.

I like this book very much, I like the beginning of the story because of how the author describe the scene about the people of Ember coming to the village.

I RECOMMENDED THIS BOOK TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THE FUTURE

Wolves Of The Calla

This book is the fifth book of "The Dark Tower" series, the main story about this book is four shooters(gunslingers), are trying to get to the "Dark Tower".But on their way, they pass through a place called Calla Bryn Sturgis. At that town, strange things happened.......There are some the so called "Wolves".Every family there has twins and the "Wolves" will come to get one of the twins for no reason... after a while the kids will be returned on an automatic train, and all those kids were all mental retarded. The shooters decided to help the people lives in Calla Bryn Sturgis and found some very surprising truth about those wolves, and also closer to the Black Tower....
This book is a decent horror novel, it uses the more informal language than the other novels which is closer to young readers and the build up of the whole story is very slow but dramatic and it makes you want to keep on reading it. The whole story is a bit complicated, if you want to understand the whole thing the best way is to read for the very first book.
I highly recommend this book, hope you will enjoy it!

The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan

The Last Olympian is the last book of the series of Percy Jackson & The Olympians (the 5th book). The plot is based on the Greek Mythology and about the demigods' life. The main character, Perseus (Percy) Jackson, found out that he was the son of Posidon and his great advanture. Furthermore, there was a great prophecy saying that when he had reached the age of 16 he would either destroy the Olympians or to save them.
In the last book, the Titan Lord Kronos had risen up again to defeat the Olympians. Therefore, to stop the world from falling into war and chaos, he had to stand up the the Titans and protect Mount Olympus. Would he be able to stop the Titan Lord? Or would he be the one to destroy the Olympians?

But soon Edmund and then Peter and Susan discover the magic and meet Aslan, the great lion for themelves. The the blink of an eye, their lives are changed forever. Enter this enchanted world wountless times in the chronicles of narnia.

This book is mainly the adventure of four children in a different world called Narnia. This is the second book of the Narnia series followed by The magician's nephew.

Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson

This is a good book. Its one of those tiny amounts of English books that I read. I got interested to this because of the movie, but the book is really good, too. "Bridge to Terabithia" is not a funny book, but touchy. In this story, Jesse is the boy who runs the fastest in the fifth grade, he had been practicing running the whole summer. However, a new girl came.

Leslie is very different from other girls: dresses not that tidy, doesn't gossip a lot, more over, she even runs faster than all the boys in her year.

Normally people think that boys should be good at PE, and girl should do those art and music stuffs. Even though that was just a stereotype, all the students in that school believe in it. And this became a rule for those students, who ever against to this rule, is going to be isolated. However, in this story, Jess is intelligently good at art. And on the other hand, Leslie has the better PE abilities not only the best of all the girls, she is better that every student in her grade. Jess never had the courage to tell any one about his drawings except a few people who accept boy to have "girly" abilities. Luckily, he met Leslie and found a secret spot, their tree house.

They run through the trees, tell each other many fairytales, these two young people are a part of that land. But later on something happened... I don't like that part because it is a bit sad (especially when you watch the movie). But i still have to admit that: this is a great book. It touches me by the words appropriate and the difficult vocabularies (it was hard for me but not that hard to understand for other people, I have to admit that my vocabs are really poor... Na, not that poor, just a tiny bit bad at remembering many different words). Listen to the whisper from the old trees (please don't quit and jump to the other book when you are in the sad part or the scary part. That might cause nightmares, I guess... Ha ha, just kidding)

Enjoy it !
