This book is second in the series. I suggest that if you where to only read one of Dan brown's books that you would read this one. The others are all exactly the same. This book is fast-paced, action-filled, and a very good read. It is suited so that it can be read in one night, or 2 months, however the book will drag you in and keep you till the very last page.
Some criticism of this book is that it is almost on a template that the others where built on, the difference is that this one has more action and mystery than the others. I would not recommend this to my greatest enemy because I wouldn't want my greatest enemy to have such a good book.
While I don't want to ruin the storyline of this book I will give a small hint as incentive to go and buy it: The book involves Jesus descendant"
While that may not be much incentive for you it certainly was for me.
