Henderson's Boys: The Escape

Being a dedicated fan to Robert Muchamore's series, CHERUB, I have found another spin-off spy novel that I guarantee will have your eyes glued to the pages.
In the first book, The Escape, meet Marc Kilgor, a French orphan in the midst of the bloodiest times on earth, World War II. Hitler's army is expanding towards France, prepare to kill any civilians that gets in the way. Air raids are already showing. Everyone is on the run, trying to escape to Britain. Many die on the way. No shelter from the war, food on rations and in a short supply, constant air raids on buildings, it is not surprising people don't make it.
Marc has planned on escaping his orphanage for many years, but he just can't do it. He wanted to escape his torturous roommates and his headmaster. It wasn't possible. It was miles away from any major city and he had no forms of free transportation other than foot.
One day he recieves the news that his headmaster had bought a shiny brand new bike, unlocked, free for anyone in the orphanage to touch. With the help of his roommates that taunted and dared him to run away, he sees his chance and summons up his courage and runs away, also stealing some food and money from his headmaster's room, which turned out to be very useful.
On the other hand, Charles Henderson was a British spy that was currently smuggling a blueprint for an advances technology in World War II from the Germans for the British. Everyone in Hitler's army is trying to hunt him down. They havn't succeeded yet.
Marc has taken refuge in Charles Henderson's house unknowning broke in. He discovers the house's owner when he saw a letter addressed to Charles Henderson, which he had not know was a spy. The German's found the house, broke in and searched to find the boy, Marc. Tortured for information and the German's got none. Charles returned and found him bleeding in his house, but still alive. Marc agreed to help Charles on his undercover mission and followed him all the way through.
Charles Henderson realised the potential of children working in undercover missions and founded the organisation, currently known as CHERUB which is continued in another series.
Read on to find out what happens to the spies and who they met on the way.
