Nineteen minutes by Jodi Picoult

In nineteen minutes, you can get revenge.
Sterling high is an ordinary school, well used to be. Peter Houghton, a sensitive boy, was different from the other peoples eyes. He was always a target for the other people to bully; verbally and physically. He could never fit in. His only friend, Josie Cormier; the judges daughter, is the one that gives him hope.
As they grow up, Josie becomes one of the popular crowd and begins to ignore Peter. The bullying gets worse and he becomes frustrated.
One day, Peter brings two guns to his school and starts shooting. After nineteen minutes, ten kids are killed and many are wounded. Josie Cormier is the only witness the judges and police have, but says that she can't remember a single thing.
Nineteen minutes is a book about difference, how we judge people and if we know who we really are or just what we seem to be.
