Inheritance book one - Eragon - by Christopher Paolini

Eragon is a a normal boy that lives in Palancer Valley of Alagasia. Just like every one he hunts to make money and food. but one day while he was hunting a blue stone appeared right in front of him. at first he didn't know what it was, but later on in the story the stone cracks and from inside the stone emerges a baby dragon whom Eragon named Saphira.
Later on the evil king who is a dragon rider hears about the Saphira and Eragon and sent assassins called the Ra'zac to hunt him down, but instead of killing Eragon the Ra'zac killed Eragons uncle Garrow. Eragon was furious. he decided to kill the Ra'zac in order to take revenge for his uncle. he travels with a story teller named Brom who claims that Eragons Adventure to become dragon rider would make a good story. during their adventure Eragon also learns that he knows magic while he accidentally said Brisingr (fire in the magical ancient language) and saved an elf named Arya who stayed unconscious during there travel.
one night they were ambushed by the Ra'zac but were saved by a young man called Murtagh who also agrees to travel with him. after a conversation they decides to travel to the Varden (people who are against the king)and train in order to become powerful enough to kill the Ra'zac. when they arrived they found out that Murtagh was the son of Morzan one of the Fore sworn (riders who decide to join the evil king.) and fights along with the Varden when Urgals (Monsters) invaded them and kills a Shade ( Evil spirit so powerful only two have survived facing one.) and gains the name Eragon Shadeslayer.
I think that this book is quite a good book to read. it keeps you from reading and reading and reading. but to prevent you from getting bored the main character changes every 2 or 3 chapters. it's like magic, preventing you from stopping in the middle of the book. making you read every last page.
I would strongly recommend this book to people of all age as long as you can read and understand.
